Ganjam emerged team champions in the State Boxing Championship which was held at Civic Centre in Sundargarh on August 12 and 13. Ganjam boxers bagged five gold and one silver in the two-day meet. Host Sundargarh finished runners-up with just one gold. A total of 53 pugilists from 10 districts participated in the meet. Six among them will be selected to represent Orissa in the 54th Senior National Championship to be held at Karnail Singh Stadium, New Delhi, from August 25 to 30.
