Syed Maqbool Ali and Birendra Kumar Behera were elected unopposed as president and secretary respectively of Odisha State Handball Association (OSHA) today. Odisha Olympic Association conducted the elections at Barabati Stadium here as requested by Handball Federation of India. HFI observer Mr Saluja was present in the meeting where all officer-bearers of OSHA were elected uncontested for a four-year term from 2018 to 2022.

New president Maqbool Ali replaced Ritwik Adhikary, who became a vice-president. New Birendra Behera replaced Balaram Mohanty, who did not get any post in the new list office-bearers. Mohanty had become the bone of contention OSHA due to allegations of irregularities against him.
