The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced teams and schedule for the 2019 Women’s T20 Challenge, the three-team series, scheduled to be held from 6 to 11 May 2019 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, coinciding with the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs.
The three teams _ Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity _ will a total of four matches, including the final. The teams will comprise current and future stars of Indian cricket playing alongside a selection of international players from England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. All matches will be telecast live on Star Sports Network.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Smrithi Mandhana and Mithali Raj will lead the Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity respectively. Odisha allrounder Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan has been selected in the Velocity team.
