In the final against South Africa, Indian drag-flick specialists Harmanpreet Singh and Varun Kumar scored two goals each, while Vivek Prasad contributed one. Richard Pautz pulled one back for South Africa. Harmanpreet was adjudged the man of the match.

Odisha Chief Minsiter Naveen Patnaik, FIH president Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra, Odisha Ministers Arun Kumar Sahoo, Samir Ranjan Das and Tusharkanti Behera handed over the trophy and individual awards. The tournament featured a total of 20 matches, which produced a total of 120 goals. India scored a total 35 goals and conceded four in their five matches.
