Orissa``s highest ranked chess player Swayangshu Satyapragyan finished joint third in the 2nd Chameliers International Open Tournament, which concluded at Chamelieres, France today. According information received here, International Master Satyapragyan, secured six points in the nine-round tournament, which featured seven Grandmasters and around 20 International Masters. Defeat in the last round cost Satyapragyan a higher place than the eighth position he occupied in the final standings. Earlier, he posted four wins and drew as many games to stay at the sixth position. Air India traffic superintendent Satyapragyan is on a 50-day tour to Europe with a mission to improve upon his present elo rating of 2410 and obtain the much awaited second Grandmaster norm.
