Odisha para shuttler Pramod Bhagat added two more medals to his list of international success, winning men’s SL-3 singles gold and doubles bronze medals in the 5th Turkey Para-Badminton International -- ENESCUP-2019, held at Antalya, Turkey from 25 to 30 March, 2019.

Competing in Standing Lower-3 category, top seed Bhagat from Atabira (Bargarh) beat Daisuke Fujihara of Japan 21-10, 15-21 and 21-14 in the singles final. On his way to the final, Bhagat defeated compatriot Dilleswar Rao Gadela 21-16, 21-14 in first round, Mathieu Thomas (France) 21-19, 24-22 in quarterfinals and compatriot Nitesh Kumar 23-21, 17-21, 21-15 in semifinals.

In SL-3 and SL-4 doubles, Bhagat and his India partner Manoj Sarkar settled for the bronze medal after losing to Indonesia opponents Dwiyoko Dwiyoko and Fredy Setlawan 12-21, 21-11, 12-21. They reached the last-four stage, getting the better of Mongkhon Bunsun and Siripong Teamarrom 21-7, 21-18 in first round and Rikard Nilsson and Alan Oliver 22-20, 21-9 in quarterfinals.
