Jammu Kashmir came from behind to beat Odisha by four wickets on the penultimate day of their four-day Ranji Trophy Elite Group-C match at DRIEMS Ground, Tangi, 20 kms from here today. The thrilling win, their fifth in six matches, fetched Jammu & Kashmir six points and carried them the top of the group table with 32 points.

On the other hand, this was first defeat for Odisha, who slipped to the second spot with 28 points from six games. Batting first, host Odisha were bowled out for 161 and then restricted J&K for 124 to take a first-innings lead of 37 runs. In their second innings, Odisha folded up for 166 to set a target of 204 for J&K to win the match.

Riding on a half-century by Suryansh Raina and notable contributions by Shubham Pundir, Abdul Samad and Aquib Nabi, J&K romped home, losing six wickets in the process.

J&K allrounder Aquib Nabi was adjudged the player of the match. Debabrata Pradhan was most impressive performer for Odisha with a match haul of seven wickets for 60 runs.
