Odisha boys won the silver medal in the Sub-Junior (U-14) National Rugby 7s Championship, which was held at Gymkhana Sports Complex in Hyderabad on February 1 and 2, 2020. Odisha settled for silver medal after losing to Bihar in the final 0-25.

Bihar clinched a double as their girls also emerged champions. Odisha boys reached final by defeating Goa 25-0 in quarterfinals and Tamil Nadu 15-10 in the semifinals.

Led by Sushant Jani, the 12-member Odisha U-14 boys team was accompanied by Bikash Chandra Murmu and Annapurna Mallick as coach and manager respectively.
