Para-Badminton World Champion Pramod Bhagat and renowned athletics coach Panchanan Gantayat were today selected for the Odisha Sports Journalists Association (OSJA) Annual Awards in respective categories. The awards will be conferred on March 21, 2020, the foundation day of OSJA.
Bhagat from Atabira of Nuapada District, will be honoured with the OSJA Sportsperson of the Year 2019, while Rourkela-based coach Gantayat will be bestowed with the OSJA Lifetime Achievement Award.
OSJA, the affiliated state unit of Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI), will also felicitate media personalities Hrudayanath Das and Shyamakant Pattanayak on the occation.
