Four-wicket haul by Rajkishan Patel and an unbeaten 60 by captain Sandeep Pattanaik propelled Odisha to nine-wicket win against Uttarakhand in their Elite Group-C match of the BCCI U-23 Mens One-Day Tournament in Dehradun today. This was the first win in three matches for Odisha.

Put into bat, Uttarakhand were bowled out for 83. Besides the four-wicket haul by Patel, Jamala Bhanjan Mohapatra and Preet Kanwar Singh Chohan claimed three and two wickets for Odisha.

Chasing the small target, Odisha romped home in 17.5 overs, losing the only wicket of M Prasanth for a blob. Leading the chase, Patnaik hit eight boundaries and three sixes in his 56-ball unconquered knock. He stitched together 84 runs for the unfinished second wicket with Debasish Samantray.
