Odisha rode on a five-wicket haul by Biswajit Mallick and an unbeaten 43 by Swastik Samal to beat Goa by four wickets in their seventh Elite Group-C match of the BCCI U-23 Mens One-Day Tournament in Dehradun today. This was the third win for Odisha.
Opting to bat, Goa were bowled out for 115. Mallick bagged the five wickets, conceding 28 runs. Among other successful Odisha bowlers, Preet Kanwar Singh Chohan and Rahul Choudhary captured three and two wickets respectively.
Chasing 116 for victory, Odisha romped home in 35.3 overs, losing six wickets in the process. Samal hit five fours and one six in his 55-ball unconquered knock.
