Orissa and host Bihar gathered two points each as first innings of both the sides could not be completed in their three-day Ranji Trophy East Zone match, which ended in a draw on the last day at Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna today.

Opting to bat, Bihar made an imposing total of 334 with the help of a century by Daniel Augustus and half-century by Syed Saba Karim. Somnath Sahoo was most successful Orissa bowler with a career-best haul of six wickets for 121 runs.

Giving a fitting reply, Orissa reached 262 for seven before play on the final day came to an end. Highlight of the Orissa innings was a half-century each by Karun Dubey, Asjit Jayaprakasham and debutant Surjit Mahalik.
