Ajit Sabar of Rayagada bagged a double by winning both the singles and doubles titles in the Odisha State Senior Soft Tennis Championship, which was organised by Odisha Soft Tennis Association (OSTA) at Ace Base Tennis Academy, Naharkanta, Bhubaneswar on 26 and 27 February, 2021.

Sabar won the singles gold medal, defeating Sibaram Swain of Khurda in the final. Manas Ranjan Singh (Keonjhar) and Dipti Ranjan Behera (Khurda) secured bronze medal. Ajit Sabar and Sibaram Swain captured the doubles gold medal, while Manas Ranjan Singh and Dipti Ranjan Behera settled for silver medal. Doubles bronze medals went to Kunal Biswal-Bikash Kumar Mohapatra and G Prakash Rao-Srikant Singh.

After the conclusion of the State championship, OSTA announced a 10-member Odisha team for the 17th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Srinagar from 4 to 8 March, 2021.
