A nine-member Odisha squad left Bhubaneswar today to compete in the 17th Senior National Roll Ball Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Jharkhand Moon City, Nango and JRD Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from 12 to 14 March, 2021.

The squad was given a warm send off in a function held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar earlier in the day. Bhubaneswar Municipal (BMC) Deputy Commissioner Ansuman Rath, Assistant Commissioner Neelam Sahoo, Odisha Roll Ball Association secretary Soudamini Patra and founder member Partha Sarathi Jena were present on the occasion.

Odisha have been placed in Pool-D along with Gujarat, Rajasthan, Pune Academy and West Bengal. Odisha will play their first league match against Gujarat on March 12.
