Former Odisha Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati and Sampurnananda Das were elected as President and Secretary of Odisha Archery Association (OAA) respectively for a four-year term (2021-2025) at the Annual General Meeting, held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today.

A 1978 batch IAS Officer who retired as Odisha Chief Secretary in 2015, Gokul Pati replaced Dr Ajit Kumar Tripathy, also a former Chief Secretary as President. New secretary Sampurnananda Das succeeded his father Sradhananda Das.

According to the decisions taken in the AGM, the 23rd State Archery Championship will be held this December in Bolangir, while the 4th State Tribal Archery Championship will take place in Dhenkanal next year in January.
