Odisha Football Club (OFC) would meet Bengaluru Football Club (BFC) in their first match of the 8th Hero Indian Super League (ISL 2021-22) at Tilak Maidan in Vasco (Goa) on November 24. Tilak Maidan has been designated as the home venue of Bhubaneswar-based Odisha FC.
The fixture for the first 11 rounds of Hero ISL 2021-22 season, featuring a total of 115 games, was announced today by Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL). The eighth season will kick-off on November 19 with a clash between ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.
Like last season, all the 115 games will be played across three stadiums in Goa - in a bio bubble. Defending champion Mumbai City FC will take on arch rivals FC Goa in Fatorda on November 22. Athletic Stadium in Bambolim is the other venue. The remainder of the ISL 2020-21 fixtures will be announced in December 2021.
The league, this season, will introduce a late 9:30 pm kick off for its Saturday double headers. The regular weekday schedule remains unchanged with matches kicking off at 7:30 pm.
