Football Association of Odisha (FAO) today announced a 22-member State Team for Group-V competition of the 76th Senior Men National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, scheduled to be held at two venues in Bhubaneswar from 24 December 2022 to 1 January 2023.

The two venues are: OSAP 7th Battalion Ground and Capital High School Ground. Six teams, including host Odisha, will compete in Group-V. Other five teams are: Meghalaya, Sikkim, Telangana, Pondicherry and Andaman-Nicobar.

Altogether 36 teams would vie for the Santosh Trophy for the year 2022-23. Teams will start campaign with league matches in six groups at six different venues. After completion of group stage, the six group toppers along with three second-best teams will qualify for the Final Round.

Odisha will play their five Group-V league matches on December 24 (vs Andaman & Nicobar), December 26 (vs Pondicherry), Decembe 28 (vs Telangana), December 30 (vs Sikkim) and January 1 (vs Meghalaya).
