Bhubaneswar giants Rameswar Sporting won the Paradip Cup Invitation Cricket Tournament, outplaying Biswabharati Club (Cuttack) by seven wickets in the final at Gopabandhu Stadium in Paradip on Sunday. The champion team received the top prize of Rs 15,000, while the runner-up side was given Rs 10,000. Rameswar batsman Susojit Mohanty bagged the man of the match award for his 54-ball knock of 61. His teammate Paresh Patel and Alok Mangaraj were adjudged the man of the tournament and best bowler respectively.
