Odisha qualified to compete in the 3rd National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship 2023, defeating host Chhattisgarh by three wickets in the qualifying match held at Kalyan College Ground in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh today. Odisha duo, Jagjeet Mohanty and Balaram Bastia were awarded as man of the match and best batter respectively.
Opting to bat, Chhattisgarh were bowled out for 131, while Odisha overhauled the target in 16.3 overs, losing seven wickets. A 13-member team represented Odisha Cricket Association for Physically Challenged (OCAPC) in the qualifying match.
