Odisha FC today announced a 22-member squad for participation in the 132 nd edition of the Durand Cup Football Tournament, scheduled to be held in Kolkata, Guwahati and Kokrajhar from 3 August to 3 September 2023.

The team features 16 native Odisha players, most of whom have represented the State in the Santosh Trophy Senior National Championship. According to a club press release, it will be a wonderful opportunity for the OFC reserve team to test themselves on a national level and gain valuable experience for the future.

Odisha FC is going to play its second season in this prestigious tournament. The club had qualified for the quarter-final in the previous year and is set to compete in Group-F this year. OFC will play its group-stage games in Kokrajhar, Assam.

The group also features the local Bodoland Team, who are making a debut in the tournament this year, along with I-League side Rajasthan United FC and the Indian Army team.

Teams have been divided into six groups, with each group consisting of four teams. Six group winners and the two best second-placed sides will make the knockout stage. A total of 43 games will be played.

Odisha FC will play their three league matches against Indian Army FT on August 7, Rajasthan United FC on August 11 and Bodoland FC on August 19.
