Odisha beat Saurashtra by nine runs, via VJD Method, in their third Group-D match of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 Mens Cricket Tournament at CAP Ground-2 in Puducherry today. Shreyansh Bhardwaj and Goutam Gopal were the main architects of the Odisha win, scoring a half-century and capturing four wickets respectively.

This was the second win for Odisha, who earlier beat Arunachal Pradesh by seven wickets, after losing their opening match against Chhattisgarh by three wickets. Led by stumper-batter Aashirwad Swain, Odisha will next meet Rajasthan on October 18.
