Punjab clinched a glorious double by winning both the men`s and women`s titles in the 29th Senior National Softball Championship, which concluded at the Police ground in Cuttack on Friday. Punjab men beat Andhra Pradesh in the final by 13-4 home runs to complete the double. Earlier on Thursday, Punjab won the women`s crown by defeating Madhya Pradesh 11-5 in the final. State Sports Minister Debasis Nayak and host Orissa Softball Association`s chief patron Pravat Ranjan Biswal gave away the trophies at the closing function.
