Favourites Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel lived upto their reputation by winning an all-Orissa women``s one-day football tournament, which was organized by Khandagiri Cricket Association at the Khandagiri ground in Bhubaneswar today. In the one-sided final, Sports Hostel crushed Bhubaneswar XI 3-0. Earlier in the semifinals, Sports Hostel trounced Bhadrak 3-0, while Bhubaneswar XI thumped Cuttack XI 4-0. Cuttack and Sports Hostel had the privilege to play semifinals directly. Bhadrak and Bhubaneswar XI entered the last-four round after defeating Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Puri XI respectively. Altogether six teams participated in the invitation tournament, which was inaugurated by for India woman football captain Sradhanjali Samantaray. Prashanti Pradhan (best goalkeeper), Sasmita Mallick (best forward), Bijayalaxmi Sahu (best defender) were given special prizes at the closing function.
