Kesinga Athletic Association (KAA) edged out Sagar Club 4-2 in the final, via tie-breaker to win the 44th Suratarangini Challenge Shield Football Tournament at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Bhawanipatna yesterday. Ranjan Kumar Das of Sagar Club received the Basant Kumar Panda Memorial Trophy as the top scorer of the tournament. Kalahandi Collector R Santh Gopalan gave away the trophy. Former Minister Kiran Chandra Singh Deo, sponsor Vedanta Alumina Limited`s Chief Operating Officer Mukesh Kumar, Vice-president Sailend Singh and host Kalahandi District Athletic Association secretary Jagamohan Patnaik were present at the closing function.
