Eighty players from 24 districts reported for State women cricket team`s selection trial, which commenced at Cuttack today. Orissa team for East zone under-19 cricket tournament will be picked from the week-long trial. According to Orissa Cricket Association sources, performance in the trial will be assessed by women team`s coach Daniel Rout, KIIT University`s woman cricket coach Rasmita Mohanty and Mohammad Sahabuddin. The East zone under-19 tournament, featuring seven states, is scheduled to be held at Jamshedpur from third week of October.
