Odisha Senior Men cricket team suffered a hat-trick of defeats in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 Tournament, losing to Vidarbha by eight wickets in their third Elite Group-A match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today. Earlier in their first two matches, Odisha lost to Kerala by 10 wickets and to Andhra by 66 runs.

Opting to bat, Odisha made a competitive total of 160. Sambit Baral and Prayash Kumar Singh were leading scorers with 46 and 40 not out respectively. In reply, Vidarbha fought back from 24 for two to overhaul the target with 31 balls to spare.

Aman Mokhade slammed an unbeaten 73 to be adjudged the player of the match. Soumya Ranjan Lenka made his T20 debut for Odisha, who will next meet Chhattisgarh at the same venue on December 2.
