The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Orissa`s Pratap Satpathy as its observer for the second Test between India and Australia to be played at Mohali from October 17 to 21. Satpathy, who is the secretary of Orissa Hockey Association, will oversee compliance of BCCI guidelines regarding technical conduct, organisational arrangements and enforcement of facilities provided to sponsors and mediapersons. He is entitled to get air fare, five-star accommodation and Rs 42,000 as allowance.
