Bhubaneswar-A emerged champions in the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format), edging out Rourkela by six runs in the closely contested final at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today. Champion Bhubaneswar-A received the trophy and a prize of Rs 1 lakh, while runners-up Rourkela took home Rs 50,000.
Chasing a competitive target of 180 for victory, Rourkela were bowled out for 173. Bhubaneswar-A allrounder Soham Patnaik bagged the player of the match award, hitting an 18-ball 25 with three sixes and capturing three wickets for 37 runs.
