*     Bagged gold medal in women individual kata event of the KAI Senior National Karate Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delh on February 19, 2015.
*     Won one gold in women’s individual kata and one bronze in below 50kg individual kumite for Andhra Pradesh in the National Senior Karate Championship held at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi from January 23 to 26, 2014.
*     Bagged a double for Andhra Pradesh, winning both the kata and kumite titles in women below 55kg weight category of the 26th Senior National Championship held at Talkatora Stadiuim in New Delhi from Sept  11 to 13, 2013.
*     Won two gold medals in women 50kg kata and kumite events of the AIKF Open National Championship, held at New Delhi from Nov 8 to 10, 2012.
*     Bagged a golden double by emerging champion in women’s below 50kg kata and kumite categories of the 25th Senior National Karate Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi on August 18, 2012.
*     Secured gold in kata and silver in kumite in the 34th National Games at Ranchi, Jharkhand on February 13, 2011.
*     Bagged a gold in women’s kata and a silver in 50kg fighting events 23rd Senior National Karate Championship held at Chennai from March 26 to 28, 2010.
*     Won two bronze medals in the 33rd National Games at Guwahati, Assam in 2007.

*     Missed a bronze medal after losing her repechage bronze play-off in the women`s 50kg Karate competition of the Asian Games at Guangzhou on November 24, 2010.
*     Fifth place in the 55th World Shukokai Karate Championship in 2004.
*     Participated in the 7th Asian Karate Championship at Macao in 2005.
*     Represented India in three international karate competitions held in Macao, Japan and Malaysia.
*     Participated in the 4th Commonwealth Karate Championship at Edinburgh, Scotland from May 30 to June 1, 2008.
*     Participated in the 9th Asian Cadet and Junior Karate Championship at Sabah, Malaysia from August 24 to 31, 2008.
*     Participated in the First Asian Martial Arts Games at Bangkok in Thailand from August 4 to 8, 2009.

AWARDS/HONOURS/INCENTIVES:
*     Mahanadi Coalfields Limited awarded her Rs 1 lakh in Bhubaneswar on August 28, 2014.
*     Orissa Cricket Association and Orissa Olympic Association jointly felicitated her with a cash award of Rs 40,000 for winning two bronze medal in the 33rd National Games in Guwahati, Assam in Feb, 2007.

*     Opened her own school `V V Karate’ at Pandav Nagar in Bhubaneswar on March 26, 2015.
*     Changed allegiance to Andhra Prades after Utkal University refused to allow
her appear the post-graduate exam in Public Administration due to insufficient percentage in attendance.
*     Suffered an injury in the rib-cage during her semifinal bout against Chinese H Li in the semifinals of the 16th Asian Games at Guangzhou, China in Nov 2010.
*     Helped Utkal University women’s team win the bronze medal in the North East Zone Inter-University Kho-kho Championship at Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar in 2007-08.

*     Received her Black Belt title in 1999 as a 14-year-old.
