NATIONAL:

*     Won two silver medals in the 48kg weight class of the 6th Youth National Weightlifting Championship, which was held at Yamuna Nagar, Haryana from January 2 to 4, 2011.

INTERNATIONAL:

*     Bagged gold medal in the youth 44kg category of the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship at Cape Town in South Africa on October 11, 2011,  lifting 45 kg and 55kg in snatch and clean and jerk respectively for a total of 100 kg.

OTHER IMPORTANT DATA:

*     She has been practising weightlifting in Berhampur-based Veer Hanuman Club since 2006.
