MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:

STATE:
*     Bagged a double for Ganjam, winning 2 Gold medals (one each in 73kg junior and senior men categories) in the State Weightlifting Championship, held in Berhampur, Ganjam on 19-20 November 2022.

NATIONAL:
*     Won one Silver medal in junior men 73 kg category of the IWLF National Weightlifting Championship at Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) on 1 January 2024.
*     Won the Gold medal in mens 73kg category of the 4th Khelo India Youth Games in Panchkula, Haryana on 7 June 2022.
*     Won the Gold medal in youth men 73kg class, lifting 119kg in snatch and 146kg in clean & jerk for a total of 265kg at the National Weightlifting Championships at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar on 24 March 2022.
*     Won one Bronze medal in youth men 67kg class of the combined National Weightlifting Championships, held at NSNIS, Patiala from 9-12 August, 2021.
*     Won Gold medal in U-17 boys 67kg category of the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games in Guwahati, Assam on 18 January, 2020.
*     Won the Bronze medal in youth boys 67kg class, lifting 107kg in snatch, 131kg in clean & jerk for a total of 238kg in the 15th Youth National Weightlifting Championship, held in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, from 15-22 October 2019.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Joined
Boys Sport Company, Army Ordance Corpse (AOC) Centre, Secunderabad in 2019.
*     His father passed away in 2019 while he was competing in a National championship.
*     Since then he has been on a mission to pay a fitting tribute to his father by winning a medal for the country.
*     His mother is the only earning member of their family and she gives tutions to earn for the family.
