BEST AND WORST MOMENTS OF CAREER: Winning the SAF Games gold and giving birth to daughter Anshika (Kim) are two most memorable moments. The worst is despite setting a National record she was not given the chance to compete in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006.

* Won the under-15 girls 100m hurdles gold at Jalandhar. Thereafter she continued to win the event in various age groups of the National championships till 1995.

* Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles at the Open National Meet at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

* Returned to the track this year, after a lay-off of two-and-half years, She was overweight and felt embarrassed to train during day-time. Arranged a couple of halogen lights and practiced at night. It was really a tough task but hard work and determination paid off as she won the National gold within a year.

Gold in women`s 100m hurdles (13.82 seconds) event of the 48th Inter State Senior National Athletic Championship at Madurai, Tamil Nadu on June 18.

* Won silver medal in women’s 100 metre hurdles event of the 49th Open National Athletics Championship at TT Stadium, Bhopal (MP), clocking 14.15 seconds on Oct 7, 2009.
* Won the silver medal in women`s 100m hurdles event, clocking 14.18 seconds in the 49th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Oct 22, 2009.

* Secured a silver medal in women`s 100m hurdles event, clocking 14.04s in the 50th National Open Athletics Championship at Maharaja College Stadium in Kochi on May 17, 2010.

AWARDS/HONOURS:
* She was conferred with the Biju Patnaik Sports Award for life-time achievement for the year 2013 by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on August 29, 2014. The award carried a cheque of Rs 3 lakh.
* Received the Biju Patnaik Sportsperson of the Year (2002) Award, carrying Rs 50,000, on March 5, 2003.
