BEST AND WORST MOMENTS OF CAREER: Winning the SAF Games gold and giving birth to daughter Anshika (Kim) are two most memorable moments. The worst is despite setting a National record she was not given the chance to compete in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in 2006.
LIFE-TIME ACHIEVEMENTS: 80 gold, 50 silver and 37 bronze medals.

YEAR 1987:

*     Won the under-15 girls 100m hurdles gold at Jalandhar. Thereafter she continued to win the event in various age groups of the National championships till 1995.
YEAR 1998:
*     Silver in women`s 100m hurdles at the Open National Championship at Calcutta.
YEAR 1999:
*     Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles at the Open National Meet at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
*     Gold with New National Record in 100m hurdles at the Federation Cup Meet at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
*     Gold in 100m hurdles at the National Games at Imphal, Manipur.
YEAR 2000:
*     Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles at the Inter-State Meet at Chennai.
*     Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles at the Federation Cup Championship at Lucknow.
YEAR 2001:
*     Gold with Games Record in 100m hurdles at the National Games, Ludiana.
*     Gold with National Record in the 100m hurdles at the Federation Cup Meet at Chennai.
YEAR 2002:
*     Gold in 100m hurdles at the National Games at Hyderabad.
*     Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles at the Circuit National Meet at New Delhi.
*     Gold with National Record in 100m hurdles (13.38 sec) at the Open National Meet at New Delhi.
YEAR 2005:
*     Returned to the track this year, after a lay-off of two-and-half years, She was overweight and felt embarrassed to train during day-time. Arranged a couple of halogen lights and practiced at night. It was really a tough task but hard work and determination paid off as she won the National gold within a year.
*     Wrote or rewrote National record seven times and National Games record once in 100m hurdles.
*     Won 100m hurdles gold in the Circuit National Meet at New Delhi.
*     100m hurdles silver in the Federation Cup at New Delhi.
*     100m hurdles silver in the Inter-State Meet at Bangalore.
*     100m hurdles gold in the 45th National Open Athletic Championship at Hyderabad (Nov 7-10).
YEAR 2006:
*     Gold with New Meet Record in 100m hurdles in the Federation Cup at New Delhi.
YEAR 2007:
*     Silver in 100m hurdles at the National Games at Guwahati.
*     Gold in 100m hurdles at the Federation Cup in Kolkata.
*     Silver in 100m hurdles at the Open National Meet at Jamshedpur.
YEAR 2008:
* Gold in women`s 100m hurdles in the Federation Cup Meet at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Gold in women`s 100m hurdles (13.82 seconds) event of the 48th Inter State Senior National Athletic Championship at Madurai, Tamil Nadu on June 18.
YEAR 2009:
*     Won silver medal in women’s 100 metre hurdles event of the 49th Open National Athletics Championship at TT Stadium, Bhopal (MP), clocking 14.15 seconds on Oct 7, 2009.
*     Won the silver medal in women`s 100m hurdles event, clocking 14.18 seconds in the 49th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Oct 22, 2009.
YEAR 2010:
*     Secured a silver medal in women`s 100m hurdles event, clocking 14.04s in the 50th National Open Athletics Championship at Maharaja College Stadium in Kochi on May 17, 2010.

INTERNATIONAL:
YEAR 1992:

*     Silver in women``s 100m hurdles and bronze in 4x100m relay at the Asian Open Athletic Championship at Singapore.
YEAR 1995:
*     Bronze in the 100m hurdles at the SAAF Games.
YEAR 1998:
*     Two silver medals in 100m hurdles and 4x100m relay at the SAAF Athletic Championship in Sri Lanka.
YEAR 1999:
*     Silver in 100m hurdles at the SAAF Games in Sri Lanka.
YEAR 2000:
*     Gold in 100m hurdles at the Salwan International Athletic Meet in New Delhi.
*     Became the first Orissa woman athlete to represented the country in Olympic Games at Sydney, Australia (4x100m relay).
*     Gold in 100m hurdles at the Asian Open Athletic Championship in Thailand.
*     Bronze in 100m hurdles (Natl Record) and Silver in 4x100m relay at the Asian Athletic Championship at Jakarta.
YEAR 2002:
*     4th place in 100m hurdles of the Asian Games in South Korea.
*     Participate in 100m hurdles at the Asian Grand Prix Meet in Manila (Philippines) and Thailand.
YEAR 2006:
*     Participated in the 100m hurdles of the Asian Grand Prix at Thailand, Manila.
*     Gold in 100m hurdles (14.28s) and 4x100m relay at the SAF Games at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
*     Represented India in the 4x100m relay event of the Asian Games at Doha.
YEAR 2007:
*     Participated in 100m hurdles event of the Asian Grand Prix at Thailand.
YEAR 2008:
*     Silver in women``s 4x100m relay at the SAAF Athletics Championship at Kochi, Karala.


AWARDS/HONOURS:
*     She was conferred with the Biju Patnaik Sports Award for life-time achievement for the year 2013 by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on August 29, 2014. The award carried a cheque of Rs 3 lakh.
*     Received the Biju Patnaik Sportsperson of the Year (2002) Award, carrying Rs 50,000, on March 5, 2003.


OTHER IMPORTANT DATA:
*     Nominated as a member of Khelo India Talent Identification Committee for East Zone (Athletics) on 7 January, 2021.
*     Set the women 100m hurdles National Record, clocking 13.38 seconds at the Open National Meet in New Delhi on 28 August 2002 and held it for 20 years before Jyothi Yarraji of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha-Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC broke it with a timing of 13.23 seconds at the Cyprus International Athletics Meet in Aimassol, Cyprus on 10 May 2022.
*     Orissa Cricket Association and Orissa Olympic Association jointly felicitated her with a cash award of Rs 30,000 for winning one silver medal in the 33rd National Games in Guwahati, Assam in Feb, 2007.
