*     One bronze each in Nagoya (1981) and Damascus (1983) Asian Championships.
*     Claimed bronze medal in the Asian Games in Japan in 1990.
*     Secured gold medal in Pakistan National Games at Peshwar in 1982.

AWARDS/HONOURS:
*     He was honoured with the 4th Kamal Ganguly Memorial Sports Award for life-time achievement by Saheed Sporting Club in Bhubaneswar on Jan 3, 2015.
