DESCRIPTION:
*     Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is the National Mens T20 Cricket Tournament of India, which was first held in 2006.
*     This will be the 15th edition of the tournament, which has been named after Indian former test cricketer, Syed Mushtaq Ali.
*     Tamil Nadu is the current champion and the most successful team of the tournament, winning it thrice.
*     A total of 38 teams would compete in this edition.
*     The tournament will be divided into five elite groups, with eight teams in Group A, B, and C while seven teams in Group D and E.
*     The winners of each Group A, B, C, D and E will progress directly to the quarter-finals, with the second-placed teams of each group will be ranked as 6-10 and the top ranked team from remaining groups will be ranked as 11th team based on their Points/Win/NRR will play in pre-quarters matches.
*     The tournament will be played in six cities across the country which are Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mohali, Rajkot, with all the knockout matches played in Kolkata.
*     Odisha has been placed in Group-E along with Bengal, Sikkim, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu.
*     Abhishek Raut will lead a 16-member Odisha Senior Men Team in this tournament.
*     Odisha would play all of their six group league matches in Lucknow.
