Over 80 golfers from 15 clubs of West Bengal, Bihar, Jamshedpur and Orissa would vie for honours in the 7th Nalco East Zone Golf Tournament.

The three-day inter-club tournament, the biggest in Orissa, would feature competition in men, women and veterans categories. Participating clubs of the 18-hole stroke-play event would include Royal Calcutta Golf Club, Tollygunj Golf Club (both Kolkata): Beldih Club, Golmuri Club (both Jamshedpur): Army Regimental Centre (Ramgarh Cantonment, Bihar), Mowbhandar Railway Club (West Bengal), Green City Golf Club (Ranchi), Brahmani Golf Club (Sambalpur), Paradip Golf Club (Paradip), Talcher Golf Club, Konark Golf Club (TA Battalion, Bhubaneswar), EAst Coast Railway Golf Club and host BGC.
