DESCRIPTION:
*     Blind Peoples Association (BPA), Ahmedabad is the venue of the championship.
*     Odisha Chess Association for the Visually Challenged (OCAVC) on October 30 announced a five-member State team for this championship.
*     Odisha team consists of Prachurya Kumar Pradhan, Subhendu Kumar Patra, Nemai Das, Asit Kumar Mohanty and Ananya Anwesha Mishra.
*     Both Prachurya and Subhendu are international medallists.
*     The inclusion of seven-year-old prodigy Ananya adds a remarkable new dimension to the blind chess in India as she becomes the youngest participant in the history of the National Team Championship.
*     Odisha secured two individual silver and one bronze medals in the previous edition of the National championship.
*     The Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha has extended  generous support, including travel and related expenses, for the participation of the State team.
