DESCRIPTION:
* Eight top football clubs of the country, including defending champions East Bengal FC and Nita Football Academy (Odisha), will vie for the title.
* Other six clubs are: Gokulam Kerala FC, Sribhumi FC (West Bengal), Kickstart FC (Karnataka), Sethu FC (Tamil Nadu), Garhwal United FC (New Delhi) and Sesa Football Academy (Goa).
* Nita Football Academy (NFA), which was founded 2011, will be making be making their second appearance in the IWL.
* NFA finished sixth on their debut season 2024-25.
* Matches will be played in a centralised format in Kolkata and Kalyani.
* Odisha FC won the title in the season 2023-24, but the reigning champions were relegated in the next season.
* The first phase will see each club play seven matches (once against every opponent) from 20 December 2025, to 9 January 2026.
* The second phase of fixtures will take place from 20 April 2026 to 10 May 2026.

20 Dec 2025 (Match 1, Kalyani Stadium): Nita Football Academy vs Gokulam Kerala FC.
24 Dec 2025 (Match 2, National Centre of Excellence): Nita Football Academy vs Sesa Football Academy.
27 Dec 2025 (Match 3, National Centre of Excellence): Nita Football Academy vs Kickstart FC Karnataka.
30 Dec 2025 (Match 4, National Centre of Excellence): Nita Football Academy vs Garhwal United FC.
2 Jan 2026 (Match 5, Kalyani Stadium): Nita Football Academy vs East Bengal FC.
6 Jan 2026 (Match 6, National Centre of Excellence): Nita Football Academy vs Sethu FC.
9 Jan 2026 (Match 7, Kalyani Stadium): Nita Football Academy vs Sreebhumi FC.
