DESCRIPTION:
*     The festival includes three State age-group chess tournaments namely Under-7 open & girls, Under-15 open & girls and Under-17 open & girls.
*     Each category carries a prize fund of Rs 15,000, including Rs 1,500 each for title winners in open and girls categories.
*     The festival will start with the State U-15 tournament from April 1 to 3.
*     State U-7 and U-17 tournaments will be take place simultaneously from April 4 to 6.
*     Each tournament will feature seven rounds of competition.
*     Top two boys and top three girls of the U-7 tournament will qualify to represent Odisha in the related National championship to be held at Pune from May 1 to 9.
*     Top four boys and top five girls of the U-15 tournament will qualify to represent Odisha in the related National championship to be held in West Bengal from August 4 to 12.
*     Top two boys and top two girls of the U-17 tournament will qualify to represent Odisha in the related National championship to be held in Assam from May 1 to 9.
